JUST ONE, on behalf of its client, the leading company in oil/water-separation, evolving in Shipping sector, is looking for a:
Technical Director
Role based in Germany. Reporting to the Managing Director.
Responsibilities:
Manage 4 teams of Product Management, Electrical/ Automation Design, Mechanical Design/ Documentation & Service. ~12ppl
Manage subcontractor teams for Service and any outsourcing design tasks
Manage relations with Classification societies
Oversee technical discussions with Vendors (new/ replacement products, claim handling)
Oversee technical discussions with Clients (analyzing technical specifications, claim handling)
Actively support product management team for new developments
Actively support sales and after sales teams re technical issues that arise from the insatallation/operation/troubleshooting/maintenance of the systems
Requirements:
5 years in similar position
International experience
Marine industry background
Engineering studies
