JUST ONE, on behalf of its client, a well known multinational research and portfolio advisory firm that provides alternative investment solutions for institutional investors, based in Athens (Filothei), is looking for a motivated General Ledger Accountant to join their Accounting team.
General Ledger Accountant
Responsibilities:
Assist with the monthly accounting process and account reconciliations
Manage day to day bookkeeping records
Develop, update and reconcile supporting accounting schedules (Prepaids, Revenue Accruals, Fixed Assets etc.)
Develop and maintain an accounting filing system
Accounts receivable - contracts monitoring and revenue recognition on monthly bases
Accounts payable administration and expense reimbursements administration
Execute and assist with monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements and reports
Support on annual audit
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in related field
3 - 6 years of experience in a multinational environment
Experience in general ledger & conducting review
Additional experience, or relevant certifications is a plus
Time management as well as verbal and written communication skills
Professional manner and strong ethical code
Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive
Commitment to working efficiently and accurately
Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and oral
