Responsibilities:


  • Co-develop the technology vision and roadmap with the CTO

  • Represent IT in executive committees and board-level discussions alongside the CTO

  • Oversee infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, and application development

  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, and Solvency II

  • Define, document, and enforce IT standards and governance frameworks

  • Implement IT Service Management best practices based on ITIL principles

  • Lead digital transformation initiatives and adoption of emerging technologies such as AI, cloud, and API-driven architectures

  • Promote Agile and DevOps methodologies for faster delivery and continuous improvement

  • Manage IT risk, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning

  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability management programs

  • Prepare and monitor IT budgets, ensuring cost efficiency

  • Mentor technical leaders and build succession pipelines in collaboration with the CTO and CHRO

  • Foster team development, promoting innovative skills and modern engineering practices

  • Decide with the CTO on the optimal team structure and required headcount

  • Collaborate closely with business units to understand requirements and ensure technology solutions meet operational and strategic needs

  • Apply PMO principles and methodologies to manage projects effectively and ensure timely delivery


Requirements:


  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

  • 8–10 years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably in insurance or financial services

  • Cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP)

  • Cloud platforms (Azure, hybrid architectures)

  • Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF or equivalent)

  • IT Service Management (ITIL v4 certification preferred)

  • Regulatory compliance (GDPR, Solvency II)

  • Strong knowledge of risk management, identity and access management, and data protection

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and change management skills

  • PMO experience or strong project governance capabilities
