Category Marketing Manager
About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing trade marketing strategies to drive category growth and maximize sales and profitability. You will collaborate closely with internal teams (Sales & Marketing) and external partners to ensure effective execution of marketing initiatives and to enhance customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
Developing and executing category trade marketing plans to drive brand awareness and increase market share.
Conducting market research and analysis to identify consumer trends and opportunities for category growth.
Checking on a regular basis IRI & Nielsen analysis
Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to develop effective promotional programs and campaigns.
Monitoring and analyzing sales data and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives.
Identifying and implementing innovative trade marketing strategies to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
Managing relationships with key trade partners and ensuring effective execution of trade marketing activities.
Staying updated on industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in trade marketing or category management within the FMCG industry, preferably in the candies category.
In-depth knowledge of the Greek market and consumer preferences in the candies category.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and manage cross-functional relationships.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful trade marketing strategies.
Fluency in English
