Superintendent Engineer

JUST ONE, on behalf of its client, a leading dry bulk shipping company based in Voula, is looking for a:

Superintendent Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Technical management of a dry bulk fleet (13–15 vessels)

• Hands-on technical support to vessels and Chief Engineers

• Planning and supervision of repairs, maintenance, and dry dockings

• Monitoring vessel performance, machinery condition, and fuel consumption

• Ensuring compliance with Class, Flag State, ISM, ISPS, and international regulations

• Budget control, spare parts, and procurement management

• Liaison with shipyards, suppliers, and service providers

• Attendance at inspections, audits, and vettings

• Support and monitoring of the company's extended newbuilding program

Requirements:

• Degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering

• Holder of a Chief Engineer's Certificate of Competency

• Previous sea-going experience as a Second Engineer or higher on ME-engine vessels

• More than 5 years of combined sea-going and technical office experience on dry bulk vessels

• Knowledge of Class rules and international maritime regulations

• Experience in dry docking and repair planning

• Proficiency in MS Office and Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS)
