Head of Operations (Dry Bulk)

JUST ONE, on behalf of its client, a Leading Dry bulk Shipowner and Operator, is looking for a:

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all operations related to dry bulk shipping, for 25 Vessels, ensuring efficient and cost-effective logistics.
Develop and implement operational strategies that align with company goals and enhance service delivery.
Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure alignment in operational and sales objectives.
Monitor market trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operations.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team to achieve high performance.
Manage key relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, and port authorities.

Requirements

Minimum 7 years of experience in operations management within the dry bulk shipping sector.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
In-depth knowledge of dry bulk shipping operations and industry best practices.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Maritime Studies, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to travel as required.
