JUST ONE, on behalf of its client, a leading company responsible for the operation, maintenance & customer services of a major bridge concession in Greece, is looking for a:
Chief Operating Officer/General Manager

Responsibilities:
Manage the Company, head its services and conduct its everyday transactions and activities to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations
Prepare and implement the decisions adopted by the Company’s Board of Directors, as well as regularly submit reports to the BOD
Prepare and present the budget for approval by BOD and ensure compliance with the approved budget
Lead and coordinate all operational activities, including traffic management, incident response, toll operations, and customer service
Ensure compliance with the concession obligations, the Operating Agreement terms & conditions, the road safety and HSE regulations, and the Company policies
Develop, oversee, maintain and improve operational procedures and performance indicators (KPIs)
Manage and supervise operational staff, including training and development
Liaise with internal departments, shareholders and especially with the major shareholder subcontractors, authorities, and stakeholders
Participate in working groups, seminars, workshops etc and ensure compliance with and adaptation of guidelines, policies, REX, etc
Contribute to emergency response planning and crisis management
Monitor and report on KPIs, ensuring high levels of service quality and availability
Drive innovation and continuous improvement across operational domains
Requirements:
Post-graduation degree (e.g. Master, MBA) in Engineering or Business administration
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position with supervisory experience of a large team (proven leadership and team management skills)
Professional experience in the field of concessions infrastructures (ideally tolled highways), or construction works implementation, with focus on human resources management and awareness on quality, health & safety and environment requirements and best practices
Concession industry awareness and strong understanding of traffic and tolling management, safety regulations, and incident response procedures
Fluent and excellent written communication skills in English and Greek (French is a plus)
Ability to work in a high-responsibility and demanding context, 24/7 operational environment
Problem-solving mindset with a strong focus on results and customer service performance
