JUST ONE, on behalf of its client, an experienced manufacturer of BWTS solutions, is looking for a:
Technical Product Manager
Responsibilities:
Perform product life-cycle management on Ballast Water Management system product(s)
Drive product development projects for the introduction of new innovative product upgrades and new design activities for the generation of custom solutions for customers, working with multi-functional teams of engineers, and stakeholders across the globe.
Interface with classification societies and other regulatory bodies to clarify legislation requirements and ensure product compliance.
Interface with international laboratories providing technical support and troubleshooting for the successful testing of our products.
Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure smooth inter-departmental operations.
Develop, formulate, and direct product development processes and procedures.
Capture, monitor and present hard data (KPIs) to assess personnel performance and compliance with strategic targets.
Manage, develop and collaborate with a multi-functional team of engineers to ensure continuous added value on personal, product and business level.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant technical, science, or engineering discipline.
Master's degree would be a plus.
Minimum 3 years of product management or equivalent position
Proven track record in managing engineering teams.
Previous experience in Marine Industry and/or knowledge of regulatory framework would be an important advantage.
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to travel abroad
