Senior Electrical Project Engineer
The company leads key activities in:
Engineering and Consulting Services: Basic and detailed design of power plants, transmission and distribution substations and industrial substations
Designing, Testing & Commissioning of power substations and Substation Automation Systems
Erection Services & Construction Supervision
Operation & Maintenance Services.
They are looking to expand their Electrical Design & Consulting team based in Athens.
The Senior Electrical Project Engineer reports to the Design Manager.
Responsibilities:
Carry out, supervise and manage basic and detailed primary electrical design projects (substation engineering and power system studies).
Supervise secondary electrical design works (Control circuit diagrams for switchgear, control and auxiliary panels)
Preparation of Technical specifications for quotations and evaluation.
Project Management and client interface, understanding project's needs.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Site/Commissioning experience
Project Management exposure
Understanding of basic civil engineering knowledge and its interface with electrical engineering
Required Qualifications/Qualities:
MSc Studies will be appreciated. Degree in Electrical Engineering.
2-7 years in electrical power engineering.
Demonstrated Technical abilities in electrical and CAD software packages. (i.e. DIgSILENT, Neplan, CYME, Autocad)
Proficient use of the English language.
Report writing skills.
An understanding of the level of detail and accuracy required in the power and infrastructure industry.
Experience in Development process of new grid connections (Renewable Energy Plants, Battery storage etc.)
Experience in connection application/registration/regulations within Greek Market (RAE, IPTO, HEDNO etc.)
Ability to take responsibility and ownership of tasks and/or projects.
Understanding and interpreting client's needs.
Good problem solving and decision making abilities.
