Project Manager
The Role
Manage the complete life cycle of complex projects, including approval, planning, execution, monitoring and closeout ensuring that planned results are achieved.
Apply standardized project management techniques and procedures.
Responsibilities
Develops management plans (indicatively: schedule, cost, scope, quality) and project baselines.
Maintains complete control on project schedule, scope, budget and risk issues
Drives projects delivery on schedule, in budget and with the planned quality.
Reports on project performance and issues, timely and accurately.
Performs change management and ensures progress to plan.
Applies simple risk management techniques to control threats and opportunities.
Monitors project’s financials by analysing project revenue, cost, and profitability.
Substantiates revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing.
Manages internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Coordinates the activities of cross-functional team(s).
Performs root cause analysis and verifies results on actions.
Performs reviews according to quality assurance procedures.
Identifies and manages project stakeholders.
Communicates and negotiates effectively at project team level.
Measures project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
Assumes personal responsibility on project success.
Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Effectively applies and enforces project standards and processes.
Participates on ISO quality audits.
Actively applies available experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline.
Self-motivated and proactive.
Develops balanced business relationships contributing to the success of the project and customer satisfaction
Applies best practices and tools for project execution and management
Background & Profile
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IT/ High Tech Sector
Competent and proficient in understanding and applying of major PM Methodologies
Excellent ability to lead project teams of various sizes and lead them through to completion
Excellent analytical, risk management and problem-solving skills
Budget management experience required
Outstanding organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
