Head of Legal

JUST ONE, on behalf of its client, a well-known machinery manufacturer serving the shipping and maritime industry, is looking for a:

Responsibilities:

Contract Management & Commercial Law

Draft, review and negotiate contracts with suppliers, clients, and partners ensuring legal and financial protection.
Provide legal support in service agreements and licensing contracts.

Corporate Governance & Risk Management

Ensure compliance with corporate legal requirements including company policies and reporting obligations.
Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Provide legal support in audits, internal investigations and due diligence processes.

Dispute Resolution and Litigation

Handle legal disputes, claims and negotiations with third parties.
Represent the Group in legal proceedings or coordinate with external councel when necessary.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) and professional legal qualification.
8-10 years of experience, ideally in the shipping or manufacturing industries.
Strong knowledge of labor law, union regulations, and industry-specific legislation.
Proven experience in contract negotiation, compliance and risk management.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills, ensuring the company aligns with its legal mandate and industry standards.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a dynamic environment.
Ability to work cross-functionally with technical, commercial and operational teams
