JUST ONE, on behalf of its client, a major international engineering, transport infrastructure, project development & operations company, which is active in Greece (Thessaloniki), is looking for an:

Responsibilities:


  • Define and execute the company’s IT strategy in alignment with organizational objectives

  • Lead the IT Department across all functions: infrastructure, software development, support, cybersecurity, and data governance

  • Oversee the operation, maintenance, and evolution of enterprise systems and networks, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security

  • Develop and enforce corporate IT policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (including desirable knowledge of ISO 27001)

  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and internal security protocols

  • Lead internal and external IT projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery and value creation

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and technology partners

  • Drive digital transformation initiatives to improve internal efficiency and customer experience

  • Ensure business continuity through disaster recovery planning and risk mitigation strategies

  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of IT professionals

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify business needs and propose technological solutions


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree in MBA, Technology Management, or related field is preferred)

  • Proven experience (7+ years) in senior IT leadership roles

  • Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and cloud environments

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud

  • Working knowledge of ISO 27001 and other IT governance or security standards

  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects across multiple stakeholders

  • Strong vendor management, contract negotiation, and budgeting skills

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and strategic planning abilities

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required
