Head of the Business Development & Innovation Unit
We are looking for a Senior Executive with track record in Sales in the Banking, E-payment or Software Engineering & IT Systems sectors.
Dynamic, you are able, with the support of your team, to help grow the business by initiating & leading related projects, and by establishing and developing strong relationships with our customers and partners.
Role reports to the CEO.
Requirements:
Develop a business strategy focused on financial growth and customer satisfaction and determine critical business goals towards it
Research and identify new business opportunities & new technologies in the fast-evolving world of payments
Foster and develop relationships with customers – Company's Members (Payment Service Providers) & Technology companies that are entering the field of payments in Greece, understand market and customer insights deeply and ensure fit between strategy and execution in the market, respond effectively and in a timely manner with the right technology solution and promote and expand new products and services
Provide the Company’s management with useful information concerning market trends and new affairs in its field
Ensure deep understanding of the market trends, and the changing operating and regulatory environment as it relates to payments innovation, transaction banking and payment & settlement systems
Contribute to thought leadership, media engagements and conference programs, payments and banking industry engagement
Stay informed of the overall market landscape, including new developments, competitors and potential partners via ongoing research, and keep key global and regional stakeholders informed of significant updates
Qualifications:
At least 5 years' experience in payments markets or transaction banking services, preferably gained in a strategy, business development or product management role
BSc/BA in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration or other relevant field. Master’s degree in a related field could be a plus
Ability to communicate effectively at various levels within client prospects, excellent problem solving and strategic thinking skills
Financial technology experience gained in payments, and/or financial sector
Executive presence - excellent internal and external interpersonal and networking skills including at senior management level
Communicates strategy and key messages both orally and written in English and Greek with clarity, consistency, and confidence. Proven ability to engage with an audience
Comfort with high levels of ambiguity and the skills to prioritize within a rapidly changing environment
