GL & Fixed Assets Accountant

JUST ONE, on behalf of its client, a leading logistics and supply-chain solutions company, is looking for a:

GL & Fixed Assets Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update the Fixed Assets Register

• Record purchases of tangible and intangible assets

• Handle capitalization of acquisition costs, improvements, and asset-related expenses

• Perform and post depreciation and amortization entries

• Ensure correct accounting treatment of fixed assets in the chart of accounts

• Perform reconciliations between Fixed Assets Register and General Ledger

• Prepare and post General Ledger journal entries

• Support monthly and annual closing procedures

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts

• Provide analysis and documentation for auditors when required

• Cooperate with internal departments regarding asset tracking and classification

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting / Finance or similar

• Minimum 5 years of proven accounting experience

• Hands-on experience with Fixed Assets accounting

• Good knowledge of General Ledger structure and postings

• Strong understanding of depreciation and capitalization rules

• Experience with ERP or accounting software

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Good organizational skills and reliability
