JUST ONE, on behalf of its client, a payment institution licensed by the Bank of Greece, is seeking a:
General Manager
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and leading a team of 40 people. Your leadership will be instrumental in expanding the operations abroad (Italy), enhancing the service offerings, and achieving financial targets.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the strategic plan for the payment institution to drive growth and customer satisfaction.
Manage overall operations, including compliance, risk management, finance, and marketing.
Lead, inspire, and develop a diverse team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with financial institutions, regulatory bodies.
Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the organization remains competitive and compliant.
Drive financial performance by developing and monitoring budgets, forecasts, and operational metrics.
Report to the (family) owner, providing insights on business performance and strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a senior management role within the payment industry or financial services is a mandate.
Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks governing payment institutions.
Leadership skills
Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in managing budgets and financial forecasts.
