JUST ONE, on behalf of its client, a leading company in the field of production and supply of electricity, is seeking a highly motivated:


Enterprise Analytics Section Manager


Responsibilities:


  • Propose and introduce disciplines and technologies for solving business problems using multiple methods of analyses, modelling and optimisation for the methodical exploration of organisation’s data, to drive efficient decision-making and automations.

  • Introduce and update standards for analytics projects; builds and maintains a basis of re-usable analytics-components.

  • Work with business stakeholders to define analysis, reporting, automation, and other requirements.

  • Support the analyses teams in business units to develop their skills, and cooperates with them to serve business needs.

  • Assure knowledge transfer and standardisation across the organization, regarding analytics and implementation methodologies.

  • Lead the continuous efforts to improve the processes related to the use of data to build business insight, hindsight and foresight through analytics, and enhance analytical thinking across the organization.

  • Create and continuously improve analytics solutions, to support operational decision-making (front), strategic decision-making (business development), operational performance, automations, and customer experience. Develops statistical and optimization models, integrated within end-to-end applications; explores and utilizes the potential of ML & AI in generic business problems.

  • Participate in the analysis of operational and technical requirements in data management matters.

  • Coordinate technical and operational teams for the effective implementation of data management and analysis solutions.

  • Manage the Enterprise Analytics Section to achieve the agreed goals.


Requirements:


  • A BSc in Computer Science/Information Technology, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Economics or relevant field.

  • An MSc in the above fields or an MBA.

  • At least 8 years of experience in Data Science, Statistical analysis, Optimizations Modelling, Machine Learning, or relevant analytics role.

  • Prior experience in the energy sector will be considered an asset.

  • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to uncover trends, insights and identify areas of opportunity.

  • Proven record of accomplishment in identifying and solving complex problems using data-driven approaches.

  • Experience in designing, building, testing, and validating highly customized models using statistical and other quantitative techniques, as well as optimization techniques.

  • Good understanding of machine learning techniques such as predictive modeling, binary classification, cluster analysis, NLP.

  • Very good understanding of business operations and the needs of business users to help them make informed decisions.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and evaluate multiple solutions to a problem.

  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness of deliverables.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams across the organization, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

  • Advanced MS Office knowledge

  • Good command of Project management & Collaboration tools

  • Programming knowledge (e.g. SQL, R, Python, C# or other)

  • Ability to operate & manage, subject to broad practices and procedures and managerial direction, with a degree of independence to achieve the agreed targets.

  • Experience in leading agile creative teams which operationalize the use of data, to efficiently deliver solutions which are actually used by business users.

  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions. Contributing to long term functional and business strategy, taking accountability on the achievement of annual objectives.

  • Continuous learning and desire to stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in the field.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
