Data Analysis Department Director
The is company is well-established and specialized in the field of Data Acquisition, Real-time Performance Monitoring and Intelligent Analytics for the Maritime Industry, utilizing Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence techniques.
The company is strengthened by a team of skillful engineers and researchers with considerable mechanical naval engineering expertise, technological competence and extensive business know-how in shipping.
The development of their products that will apply the technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution in Maritime Transportation, playing a leading role in the inevitable evolution of the Maritime Sector that induces rapid technological progress in all aspects of human activity.
Their vision is to set high expertise in Information Intelligence and innovative thinking at the disposal of global Maritime Transportation in order to strengthen the safety of maritime routes, minimize the impact on the environment and reduce the transport cost of products and people.
This role will be responsible for leading a number of Naval Architects and Mechanical Engineers.
Role based in Athens (Perama)
Responsibilities:
Create the Digital twin models of the vessels
Setup the analysis environment for each vessel
Customize and/or create visualizations of data and KPIs
Develop new algorithms for KPIs
Execute analysis studies for vessels and systems performance
Collaborate with the data scientists to develop new analytics applications
Support the presale and sales
Train the users on digital tools
Monitor the new regulations and standards
Participate to R&D Funded projects
Qualifications & skills:
BSc in Mechanical or Naval Engineering
More than 12 years’ experience on:
Vessel’s performance,
Vessel’s Technical or Operational Management
Plus:
Knowledge on Combustion Engines Analysis
Knowledge on Ship Design
Basic Knowledge on Data Analysis
Basic Understanding of Automation Systems and Sensors
