Cybersecurity Engineer
The Cybersecurity Engineer will support and shape processes and security solutions as part of the Cybersecurity and Information Security Infrastructure Management Functional Area of the Cybersecurity and Information Security Division of the Bank.
What you will be doing:
Deploy security solutions.
Evaluate new security products and perform fine tuning on the existing infrastructure in order to improve the security posture of the Organization.
Act as a subject-matter expert regarding cybersecurity topics.
Help in shaping design decisions regarding the cybersecurity infrastructure.
Monitor cyber defense and security systems for security-related incidents and help incident responders.
Automate security analysis, administration and remediation procedures, workflows and tasks.
What you need to have:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or in any other related field.
A postgraduate degree in Information Security.
At least five (5) years of work experience in a similar role, preferably as a Network and/or a Security Engineer.
Solid understanding of Networking concepts: TCP/IPv4 and the OSI Model, firewalling (i.e., iptables), static and dynamic routing, Load Balancing etc.
Solid understanding of Cryptography: symmetric/asymmetric encryption (i.e. PKI, SSL/TLS, SSH keys, full-disk encryption).
Understanding of IT-related services, such as Email, DNS, Web Proxy, FTP etc.
Understanding of Virtualization concepts: on-premise (i.e. VMware ESXi/vCenter) and cloud (i.e. Microsoft Azure).
Solid understanding of Windows, Linux OS administration.
Knowledge of key cybersecurity concepts and terminology.
Cybersecurity-related certifications, such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
Experience in technologies such as Network Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls, Load Balancers, Data Leakage Prevention, Web Proxy, Anti-DDoS, Antivirus, Email Security, VPN.
System administration experience.
Cloud & Containerization technologies.
Analytical, problem-solving as well as fast decision-making skills.
Ability to respond to specific schedules and deadlines.
Interpersonal, cooperation and team skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and in English.
