Cyber Threat Analyst
What you will be doing:
Monitor and evaluate the events recorded by the relevant security mechanisms (Security Events and Alerts), Threat Intelligence Services, as well as Information Systems and coordination, procedures to prevent, detect, limit and deal with incidents, in cooperation with the competent Units.
Carry out specialized investigations in cases of security breaches (Security Forensics Analysis), suggesting improvement measures in cooperation with the competent Units and ensuring the implementation of the required corrective actions
Remain familiar with Information on new "threats landscape" and incidents, design and implementation of relevant control scenarios in order to best deal with them for the Bank and the Group, evaluation of the relevant results and proposal of improvements.
Cooperate with the competent external bodies in matters of cyber security and dealing with cyber-attacks.
What you need to have:
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Information Security
A postgraduate degree (MSc) in Information Technology or Information Security is highly desirable
Experience of up to three (3) years of related work experience in the areas of
System Management SIEM
Management of SIEM systems
Incident Response services
Security infrastructure management
Cyber/Information Security / IT
Threat Hunting
Threat Intelligence
Professional Certifications are highly desirable:
Certifications in SIEM mechanisms and Incident Response (Vendor Specific Certification)
Cyber/Information security certifications (eg GCIH, GCFA, GCFE, CISSP, CCSP, ISO 27001 L.A)
Analytical and critical thinking
Teamwork and communication
Ability to effectively handle critical situations
Self-motivated
Able to prioritize and schedule tasks
Ability to meet deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the Greek and English language
