JUST ONE, on behalf of its client, a leading logistics company based in Magoula (Attica), is looking for a:


Credit Control Manager

Responsibilities:


Credit Policy Management:

  • Develop, implement, and enforce credit control policies tailored to the logistics and supply chain sector

  • Set and monitor credit limits for customers based on financial analysis and transaction history

Customer Credit Assessments:

  • Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers using financial data, payment history, and external credit reports

  • Recommend adjustments to credit terms for customers with changing risk profiles

Receivables Management:

  • Oversee the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices

  • Monitor aging reports and take proactive steps to recover overdue payments

  • Implement escalation processes for delinquent accounts, including engaging with external collection agencies if required

Risk Management:

  • Analyze and mitigate credit risks associated with large contracts or high-value clients in the logistics sector

  • Liaise with insurance providers for credit insurance coverage to protect against potential losses

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to align credit policies with customer needs and company goals

  • Communicate effectively with customers to resolve billing disputes or payment delays

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Prepare regular reports on receivables status, cash flow forecasts, and credit risk assessments for senior management

Compliance and Best Practices:

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, industry standards, and internal policies

  • Stay updated on market trends, customer credit behavior, and changes in the regulatory environment affecting logistics and supply chain businesses


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or financial management, preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry

  • Previous experience in a debt collection agency or a transportation/logistics company will be considered a plus

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial analysis and credit risk evaluation

  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Entersoft)

  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities

  • Results-driven with a focus on maintaining positive cash flow

  • Ability to balance customer satisfaction with risk management

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
