Business Development & Innovation Advisor

The company is looking for a Business Development & Innovation Advisor, with a dynamic approach, able to improve and grow the business, by establishing and developing strong relationships with customers and partners.

With the support of the CEO & the Client Development Team, the Business Development & Innovation Advisor will identify new business opportunities in order to generate revenue, identify new technologies and help the business grow!

Responsibilities :

  • Develop a business strategy focused on financial growth and customer satisfaction and determine critical business goals towards it

  • Research and identify new business opportunities & new technologies in the fast evolving world of payments

  • Provide the Company’s management with useful information concerning market trends and new affairs in its field

  • Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients – Company Members (Payment Service Providers) & Technology companies that are entering the field in Greece

  • Understand the needs of customers –members and be able to respond effectively and in a timely manner with the right technology solution

  • Promote and expand new products and services to company’s clients – members

  • Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business

  • Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement new projects/procedures

  • Be responsible for building strong relationships with shareholders/ banks on won deals

  • Follow industry trends locally and internationally

  • Assist in building a strong and trustworthy brand image of the company

  • PR activities : attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate and being able to present company vision

Skills & Experience:

  • Tenacity and drive to seek new business & technologies and meet or exceed targets

  • Negotiation skills

  • Excellent presentation skills and IT fluency

  • Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients

  • Decision-making skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload

  • Project management and organizational skills

  • + 5 years of experience in Technology Sales/Business Development positions in the Payments, IT or

  • Finance Sectors

  • BSc/BA in Business Administration, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or other relevant field. Master’s degree in a related field is desired.

  • Proven sales track record

  • Ability to build rapport & networking skills

  • Time management and planning skills

  • Knowledge of payments operations/products

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills both in Greek and in English language

  • Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills: capable of identifying business problems and resolving them through innovative solutions
