Accountant (Payment Institution)

JUST ONE, on behalf of its client, an international money transfer and financial services company, is looking for an:

Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Handle double-entry bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records

• Maintain accurate accounting records under Greek GAAP

• Submit transactions via the MyData platform and ensure compliance

• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, vendor, and customer ledgers

• Record and manage financial transactions, including invoice posting and document reconciliation

• Monitor cash flow and manage online transactions through banking systems

• Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain agreements with banking institutions

• Process incoming and outgoing wire transfers with precision

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 4-5 years of proven experience in accounting within a Payment Institution

• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Epsilon Net, SoftOne, Atlantis)

• Solid knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping

• Familiarity with managing wire transfers and financial operations

• Basic understanding of payroll and labor legislation

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

• Fluency in English and Greek, both written and spoken
